Trama Stool, 2026

The starting point of the line is the weaving of reed straw rugs, a widespread craft practice in different regions of Brazil. Present in various cultures around the world, the weaving of plant fibers does not belong to a specific author. It is a vernacular practice, passed down through generations, whose structural logic is based on interlacing, tension, repetition, and rhythm.
The central gesture of the collection is the displacement of the weave onto the metal. Its surface is precisely recorded on metal planes cast in aluminum or brass.
The instantly recognizable texture transports the repertoire of domestic memory into the realm of designer furniture.
The resulting metal sheets make up six pieces: a sideboard, a coffee table, side tables, and benches; supported by volumes of sucupira wood.
By transforming cultural heritage into a permanent surface, the collection proposes a dialogue between times and materials, between collective practice and contemporary authorship.
